Every one of us wants to feel grounded, connected, and fulfilled — but life can place obstacles in our path. Maybe anxiety is keeping you from showing up the way you want to. Maybe unclear boundaries leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Or perhaps you struggle to find the words for the deeper, more vulnerable conversations you wish you could have. If any of this resonates, you’re not alone. In our work together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and create space for a more steady, supported version of you.

Valencia Morr, MA, LCPC — Licensed mental health therapist

Hi there! I’m Valencia, and I’m looking forward to meeting you. I was born and raised in Maryland and now live here with my family. I’m a wife, a mom to twin boys, and someone who finds joy in plants and gardening whenever I can.

I completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Washington University in 2014 and have spent the last decade supporting children, teens, adults, and families throughout southern Maryland. Over the years, I’ve helped people manage anxiety, strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, express emotional needs, and rebuild self-esteem.

In 2018, I founded Fulfilled Path, LLC in Bowie, Maryland. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned my practice fully online and today, I offer virtual therapy to adults across Maryland, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My approach

My work is rooted in a humanistic approach, which means I focus on understanding you as a whole person such as your strengths, your lived experiences, and the deeper patterns that shape how you move through the world. I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s been feeling heavy, confusing, or overwhelming.

Alongside this foundation, I integrate several evidence-based approaches to support your growth:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts influence your emotions and choices, and to develop practical tools you can use in everyday life.

  • Solution-focused techniques to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and create small, achievable steps toward change.

  • Psychodynamic exploration when deeper patterns, past experiences, or long-standing emotional themes need gentle attention and understanding.

  • Mindfulness-based strategies to help you slow down, regulate your emotions, and reconnect with a sense of calm and presence.

Together, these approaches allow us to explore what’s beneath the surface while also giving you concrete skills to navigate daily life with more clarity and confidence.
